Launch of the France 2030 "Agroecology and Digital" program

The France 2030 "Agroecology and Digital" program was launched on January 6, 2023 in the presence of Sylvie Retailleau, Minister of Higher Education and Research, and Marc Fesneau, Minister of Agriculture and Food Sovereignty. It is led by INRAE and INRIA for a period of 8 years and a total amount of 65M€.

In this context, RARe is co-coordinating with two members of the BioinfOmics IR (bioinfomics.inrae.fr) the BReIF (E-Infrastructure to boost the use of diversified biological resources) pilot project. The project will bring together the national infrastructures IFB (www.france-bioinformatique.fr), France Genomics and RARe to improve the coordination of their services in support of projects for the characterization and mobilization of genetic resources, particularly animal and plant.

RARe is also a partner in the AgroDiv project (Genomic and functional characterization of domesticated plant and animal genetic diversity as a lever for agroecology: linking genome and phenotype).
